Join us for a joyful and historic celebration as seven Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Churches from across the Bay Area unite for a public parade and church inauguration in San Francisco.

About the event
This vibrant cultural and spiritual procession marks the spiritual and cultural celebration of the relocation and inauguration of the new St. George Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church building at 1300 Polk Street. The procession is both a religious and cultural expression of faith and unity, bringing together the Bay Area Ethiopian Orthodox community and inviting the broader public to participate and observe.

The religious procession will begin at 2135 Sutter Street, turning left onto Steiner Street, then immediately right onto Bush Street. It will continue along Bush Street and conclude at the new church located at 1300 Polk Street.
